Most people still think of AI as a writing tool.
And to be fair, it can help you write emails, articles, presentations, and client communications.
But that is only scratching the surface.
Over the last year, AI has become part of my daily workflow. In fact, it's sort of taken over my life. I use it for everything. It has helped me research complex topics, create course materials, build websites, improve client resources, develop better workflows, organize knowledge bases, create employee benefit portals, write books, and even build useful tools and calculators.
Of course, AI did not do all the work. There was a LOT of human input involved. There was brainstorming, testing, revising, correcting mistakes, changing directions, and plenty of back-and-forth along the way.
That experience inspired this new live class.
Look What AI Built for Me! is not a generic AI class or an “introduction to Artificial Intelligence” class. It is not a software development class. And it is not just a class about writing better prompts.
Instead, it is a practical class designed specifically for insurance and benefits professionals who want to understand what AI can actually help them do.
Part training. Part show-and-tell.
Part of the class will focus on the fundamentals, including how to talk to AI, when to use ChatGPT versus Claude, free versus paid tools, and how to get better results.
The other part is show-and-tell.
I'll pull back the curtain and show you real projects that AI helped me create, including websites, client resources, presentations, benefit portals, workflows, tools, calculators, courses, books, and more. Along the way, we'll talk about what worked, what didn't, and what lessons insurance professionals can apply in their own businesses.
We'll also discuss:
- Using AI to answer client questions
- Research and fact-finding
- Creating proposals and presentations
- Client communication and content creation
- Knowledge bases and resource libraries
- AI-powered workflows
- RAG, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation, explained in plain English
- AI agents and agentic AI
- How AI is changing search and online visibility, and how you need to adjust
- What AI does well today and where it still struggles
If you are not using AI yet, this class will inspire you and help you get started.
If you are already experimenting with AI, it will help you get better results and discover new possibilities.
The challenge is not getting access to AI anymore. The challenge is learning what is actually possible. And that is a lot more than most people realize.
